Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Insulating our foundation and other stuff.

Adding foam to insulate our floor perimeter. We would have preferred to use lava rock,
but it is too expensive to ship here to Missouri.

Pink zero ozone foam for the wall.

Floor waiting for our next level of road base to go on top of this
crushed lime

No. This character is not dead....I rescued him from the window
and now he is both pretending to be dead and biting
this towel that he thinks has attacked him...eyes closed except
the occasional peak. Took him a while to figure out he was free.

OK guys...It is COLD out here...animal cruelty! Cat's deserve
your loyalty.

Building a wool cavity box in a box.

Cut a hole for the door.

There is wool all round the walls, floor and ceiling.

Cover with plastic or tar paper for a better look.

Building an internal sound room and editing bay with straw bale.
I use the bales on their sides for a thinner wall using less bales.

Flat thin items can help slide that last bale into the tight spot.

Some wrens like our bare bale walls in the winter.

Saving these log cuts for decoration in something. The outer ones
are mulberry...pretty color and they seem to resist splitting.

A lot of snow and cold this year

Bobcat on our property.
