Recent Progress as of November 27th 2013

Prepping and making earthen floor and a simple water catch system.

Crushed limestone spread over the gravel to cushion the vapor barrier that is to be set over it.

Before we spread the limestone powder we sprinkle rock salt all over the floor to deter termites.

The salt is the powder you see here. It is agricultural grade and quite cheap.

The over flow from one goes into the second barrel which overflows to the outside.

Still clearing and cleaning up debri from around the house. In the little valley there is a wet weather creek that we are damming up to make a little pond and waterfall.
