Mixing some clay plaster samples today!

Mixing our first clay plaster samples today. The mix is generally more sand than clay. Do not use regular sand. Must be coarse sharp sand like the kind on river bars.

Using different recipes

Our mound of sifted clay to date! Sifted through half inch wire mess with 2x2 frame.

Very little rocks...amazing for this area!

Off loading the sand at our somewhat remote house spot. Who needs a fitness membership? Big trucks cannot get this far.

Working on the interior structure and on outside land clearing this month. Plan to mud plaster the walls in June and July.

Toilet cubby

Will have a  separation partition wall so bathroom can be used by two.

Outdoor clean up. Clearing forest is a labor intensive thing. But I enjoy the exercise!
